Funmi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Pretoria. Her research interests include the use of technologies as enabler of quality healthcare delivery. A second and equally important research interest is user experience design. With the emergence of AI technologies, I am currently involved in research related to interface design elements that could engender users’ trust in AI technologies. I have participated in AfriCHI conference as a delegate. I look forward to my involvement in the 2027 edition as a Research Paper Co-Chair.
