Mfundo A. Maneli is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. His research interests span HCI, AI, Computer Vision, and Immersive Technologies, with a focus on forensic solutions for African and resource-constrained contexts. As an active member of the AfriCHI community, he has supported previous AfriCHI initiatives and brings experience in interdisciplinary research, conference organization, and community building. Through AfriCHI 2027, He strives to provide an inclusive platform that supports emerging researchers and advances research across the continent.
