Najeeb is an ethnographic researcher at Microsoft Research Africa, working at the intersection of human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and the everyday realities of people and organisations across Africa. His research examines how emerging technologies are adopted, adapted, trusted, and sometimes resisted in contexts such as work, agriculture, health, education, and crisis response. He brings to AfriCHI experience in interdisciplinary research, multi-country fieldwork, community building, and the design of inclusive workshops and capacity-building programmes. As Registration Co-chair, he is committed to creating a welcoming, accessible, and well-organised conference experience for every participant.
